Thomas, Phoenix and Cacti
February 20, 2008
Phoenix, AZ - Do you love the desert? No Palm trees, grass or flowers. Only sunshine, blue sky, plenty of cacti and rocks! It was truly wonderful meeting Thomas and Jessica in Phoenix last weekend to celebrate Thomas’s 27th birthday. The purpose of meeting in Phoenix was to get a feel for Arizona. Thomas decided to throw in all the lines, looking for a job and the possibility of purchasing a home at a reasonable price in Phoenix. They both seem to love it and would move in a heartbeat. We are thrilled at the prospect of having them around the corner, to be more specific, 385 miles away from San Diego.
Wilhelm and I believe we should wait it out here in San Diego, to see how they cope with the soaring heat, despite the unbelievable beauty of certain areas in the North-East corner of Phoenix. Stunning modern Spanish style homes against the mountains (if you can afford 1 million plus) rock and cacti gardens take your breath away. The small town “feel” is very appealing. The restaurants and Fine food stores are right up my alley. Arriving back home was great, San Diego is fantastic . . .
